Project Manager

Role Description

We are seeking a talented and proactive Project Manager to join our growing team in Santander, Spain. In this full-time, on-site role, you will coordinate space technology projects from inception to delivery, acting as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and monitoring multiple projects, ensuring alignment with technical, financial, and schedule objectives.

As a Project Manager at SRW, you will also take an active role as a Proposal Manager, preparing high-quality proposals for both international and national entities. You will work closely with multidisciplinary technical teams, manage communications, and ensure the
successful delivery of project milestones. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for space technology, strong organizational skills, and a drive to make an impact in a dynamic and innovative environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate multiple space technology projects simultaneously.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients and stakeholders, ensuring clear and effective communication.
  • Plan projects, monitor progress, and ensure timely delivery of milestones.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and obstacles.
  • Prepare and manage proposals for international and national agencies and clients.
  • Coordinate meetings, milestone reviews, and reporting with clients and internal teams.
  • Oversee technical teams from various disciplines to achieve project objectives.
  • Track project costs, deliverables, and deadlines according to project plans and internal processes.
  • Communicate project metrics, risks, and deviations to the operations team.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant standards (e.g., ECSS, ISO9001) and internal quality processes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience managing technical projects, preferably in the aerospace or high-tech sector.
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (C1 equivalent); fluency in Spanish is a plus.
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Experience preparing technical and commercial proposals.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a diverse, international environment.
  • Eligible to work and reside in the European Union.

Desirable Skills

  • Knowledge of PMI and Agile project management methodologies.
  • Experience with aerospace projects and ECSS management standards.
  • Familiarity with ISO9001 or similar quality management systems.
  • Experience in team leadership and technical requirements management.
  • Interest in technology development and innovation.
