Role Description
We are seeking a talented and proactive Proposal Manager to join our growing team in Santander, Spain. In this full-time, on-site role, you will be responsible for leading the preparation, coordination, and delivery of compelling proposals for national and international clients and agencies in the space technology sector. Acting as the central point of contact for proposal activities, you will work closely with multidisciplinary technical teams, management, and external partners to ensure timely submission of high-quality, compliant, and competitively positioned proposals.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end proposal process for national and international opportunities, from opportunity identification to final submission.
- Analyze tenders documentation to extract requirements and define proposal strategies.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary technical, commercial, and management inputs into a coherent, persuasive proposal.
- Establish proposal schedules, manage timelines, and ensure timely delivery of all required documents.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients and funding agencies regarding proposal-related matters.
- Prepare structured, compliant, and high-quality proposal content in alignment with customer requirements and company strategy.
- Facilitate internal reviews, version control, and approval processes for all proposal deliverables.
- Track, maintain, and report proposal pipeline progress to senior management.
- Ensure proposals adhere to relevant quality standards (e.g., ECSS, ISO9001) and internal submission processes.
- Identify potential risks or gaps in proposals and proactively propose solutions.
- Maintain and organize proposal documentation, templates, and reusable content to streamline future submissions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 2/3 years of experience preparing technical and/or commercial proposals, preferably in the aerospace or high-tech sector.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
- Proven ability to synthesize inputs from technical experts into clear and compelling proposal narratives.
- Excellent communication skills in English (C1 equivalent); fluency in Spanish is a plus.
- Proactive and collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in fast-paced, international environments.
- Eligible to work and reside in the European Union.
Desirable Skills
- Knowledge of European space sector procurement processes (ESA, national space agencies).
- Familiarity with aerospace/engineering terminology and proposal compliance standards.
- Experience with project cost estimation and development of financial proposals.
- Interest in space technology development and innovation.
