Space Robotics Workers has received a grant from CDTI Innovación, Centro para el Desarrollo Tecnológico y la Innovación, for the project “Prototype of a 3D-Printed Space Module (Proto-XMOD)” as part of Proyectos de I+D vinculados a los PERTEs Aeroespacial y de Salud de Vanguardia, en el marco del Plan de Recuperación, Transformación y Resiliencia, financiado por la Unión Europea “Next Generation EU”.
2025Innova 2025 · Adaptive capture and towing control
Space Robotics Workers received an Ayudas Innova 2025 grant from the Gobierno de Cantabria to develop a real-time adaptive control system for robotic spacecraft that capture and tow orbital objects, including space debris. Total investment €654.164,60 across 25 months, of which €264.293,14 is European Union co-financing.
Operación: AYUDAS INNOVA AÑO 2025 — EXP. 2025/INN/003. Desarrollo de un sistema de control adaptativo en tiempo real para naves robóticas destinadas a capturar y remolcar objetos orbitales, como desechos espaciales. Este sistema permite ajustes dinámicos ante cambios en masa, centro de gravedad e inercias, optimizando maniobras en órbita baja terrestre (LEO). Objetivo Principal: “Desarrollar y mejorar las capacidades de investigación e innovación y asimilar tecnologías avanzadas”. Cofinanciado por la Unión Europea.
